Lonely Shoes

When it comes to shoes, no one loves a variety more than...Rylee?...umm...Kyla?... NO!  Carson!  He has his Worker guy boots, his Cowboy boots, his Spiderman boots, his Running shoes, his Daddy Snow boots, his shoes with Disney "Cars" McQueen on them (pronounced "QuQueen") with glow-in-the-dark eyes, his Mountain Hiker shoes, his Light-up Buzz shoes and the ones he really does not prefer - his Daddy Church shoes.  The Daddy Church shoes are Carson's least favorite because they put an immediate stop to the imagination play he was doing in the other named shoes.  Booooo on the "reverent" shoes.  We hope that one day he will fill the Daddy Church shoes with as much love and affection as he has for his many other favorite soles.  So this leads us to a story that happened yesterday regarding his coveted "Ququeen" shoes.
My friend Rachel and I went for a walk around the neighborhood yesterday. Carson was on his trike.  We got around the block to the next street and Carson points, "Oh, hey! Mama!! There my Lightening QcQueen shoes. I was look for those ones today!!" We laughed and laughed and we have no idea how they got there! My idea is - maybe he took them off (because he changes shoes 6 times a day depending on his activity.) He must have switched to boots and set them on my car bumper. When I drove off to a meeting, and rounded that first corner, they probably flew off. Someone set them neatly on the curb for us, and there he found them. How thoughtful of our neighbors! Carson wanted them on instantly to be FAST!
